October 8, 2009

Not too much to report. Heartbeats all strong. I am 14 weeks, 4 days. They still think identical triplets: one egg split into three seperate sacks, but only one outer sack that contains all three individuals. One placenta. However, they said ultrasound is never 100%, so they can't guarantee. She said it is a big misconception that identicals are in the same sack - only 1% of all multiples are in the same sack. Our goal is to make 35 weeks (first week of March). The average gestation of triplets is 32 weeks. Less than 32 weeks gets into more health problems. They said the most important thing for me right now is to stay hydrated. I have another check-up Oct 22.
